May 6, 2020 Dear Patients, Friends and Family: In accordance with the current guidelines our office continues to be closed for routine dental treatment. For those of you who have upcoming appointments, or appointments that were cancelled, we will be reaching out to you to reschedule. Unfortunately we have not been provided with a time frame as to when we will be allowed to re-open for routine care. As soon as we have further information it will be posted here and we will notify everyone by email. I'm available to address any emergency/urgent care. As per American Dental Association emergency treatment is for severe pain, swelling, infection, etc.., we are currently allowed to relief the pain/discomfort but not necessarily provide definitive treatment. Like many of you I suppose, my feelings and thoughts regarding these uncanny circumstances have been all over the place. I sincerely feel for anyone who has suffered personal illness or loss directly or indirectly related to the pandemic. I have my own concerns about protecting the health of myself, my staff, and my patients. For this reason I have been carefully following the recommended guidelines coming out of the American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association. We will be making numerous changes in our office policy to comply with and exceed those standards. We will communicate to everyone at a later date as to the new protocols and guidelines. By following the new standards I strongly believe we can continue to deliver high quality of care with a minimum risk of transmitting the virus. We are in the process of obtaining proper PPE and preparing the office for when we are allowed to re-open.
